Adrian Moynes
Managing Director of Radio, RTÉ
A native of Co. Armagh, Adrian joined RTÉ in 1979, after a five year teaching commitment at further and higher level.
During his time in RTÉ Adrian has worked as a producer, in both radio and TV, as the editor of Young People’s Programmes and as Head of Scheduling in TV. Since 1997 he has worked in the Director-General’s Office, initially as Special Assistant and subsequently as the Head of the office. In his current post Adrian has reporting responsibility for Raidió na Gaeltachta, RTÉ Music, Freedom of Information and is a management representative on the Industrial Relations Tribunal.
Adrian is an Irish speaker and holds an MA in English from Balliol College, Oxford.
