Training and Development
The BCI has provided support and funding for training and development activities for a number of years with the aim of enabling and assisting the growth and development of the broadcasting sector in Ireland through a range of approaches and initiatives which are consistent with its overall statutory and regulatory remit. Over time, the range of activities and approaches has evolved in tandem with the changing needs of the sector.
In 2006, the BCI undertook a review of its Training and Development Policy and subsequently published a revised Training and Development Policy in 2007. The Policy sets out the BCI’s approach to training and development as well as its Objectives and Operating Principles. Read the BCI Training and Development Policy here.
