BCI ANNOUNCES VENUE FOR NORTH-WEST REGIONAL
ORAL HEARING

A public hearing of the applications for the youth service in the north-west region will be held in the Galway Radisson SAS Hotel, Lough Atalia Road, Galway this coming Monday (October 9th, 2006).  The hearing, which will take place in the Inis Mór Room, will commence at 9.30a.m. sharp.

The following applicants will present to the Commission:

The purpose of the public hearing process is to afford the applicant groups an opportunity to present their case for the licence in a public forum and to allow the Commission to clarify certain issues in the applicants’ submissions. 

The applications received can be viewed on the BCI’s website, www.bci.ie or by appointment at the BCI’s offices at 2 – 5 Warrington Place, Dublin 2.

It is anticipated that a decision with regard to the award of the licence will be made at the Commission’s meeting on November 13th.
