BCI INVITES APPLICATIONS FOR COMMUNITY TELEVISION LICENCE IN CORK CITY & COUNTY

Further to Section 39 of the Broadcasting Act, 2001, the Commission has this week placed an ad in the national press, seeking applications from any persons or groups interested in securing a community content contract to provide a television service for the following area:

Cork City and County

The service will be carried on the relevant cable/MMD system in the franchise area.
