BCI SIGNS NEW CONTRACT WITH LIMERICK’S LIVE 95FM

 

The Broadcasting Commission of Ireland has today (Wednesday 17th October) announced the signing of a ten-year contract with Treaty Radio Limited (trading as Limerick’s Live 95FM) to provide a local sound broadcasting service for Limerick City and County.   


Limerick’s Live 95FM has previously held a ten year contract with the Commission and this new signing will facilitate the long term development of the station. Limerick’s Live 95FM will continue to provide a broad format service with a mix of speech and music programming for the Limerick City and County area.


Commenting on the signing, Conor Maguire, Chairperson of the BCI said “the Commission is delighted to conclude contract negotiations and sign this ten year contract with Limerick’s Live 95FM. I am confident that this service will continue to maintain high standards of programming for the listeners of Limerick City and County. We wish the station every success in the years ahead.”

 

Donal Dineen, Chairman and David Tighe, Chief Executive represented Limerick’s Live 95FM at the signing. Also present on behalf of Treaty Radio Limited were Ronan McManamy and John Mc Cann (Directors).  Conor J. Maguire, Chairperson and Michael O’ Keeffe, Chief Executive of the BCI, signed on behalf of the Commission.
