BCI ANNOUNCES DETAILS OF ORAL HEARING FOR MULTI-CITY LICENCE
A public hearing of the applications for a new Classic Gold/Easy Listening/Smooth multi-city service on the FM band will be held in the Conrad Hotel, Earlsfort Terrace, Dublin this coming Monday (December 17th, 2007). The hearing, which will take place in the Conrad Ball room, will commence at 3.00p.m sharp.

The purpose of the public hearing process is to afford the applicant groups an opportunity to present their case for the licence in a public forum and to allow the Commission to clarify certain issues in the applicants’ submissions.
The applications received can be viewed on the BCI’s website, www.bci.ie or by appointment at the BCI’s offices at 2 – 5 Warrington Place, Dublin 2.
It is anticipated that a decision with regard to the award of the licence will be made at the Commission’s meeting in late January.
