BCI ANNOUNCES DETAILS OF SEVENTH FUNDING ROUND OF
'SOUND & VISION' FOR RADIO

 

The Broadcasting Commission of Ireland (BCI) has this week announced details of the seventh funding round of Sound & Vision, the Broadcasting Funding Scheme, for radio. An advertisement was placed in the national press inviting applications from programme makers for funding for new radio programmes dealing with the themes of Irish culture, heritage and experience, and such programmes in the Irish language. The Sound & Vision scheme also provides funding for new programmes aimed at improving adult literacy.

 

Application forms for the current round for radio can be downloaded from the BCI website or are available by e-mail from sound&vision@bci.ie.

 

The closing date for receipt of applications is 12.00 noon on Friday 18th July next .
