BCI ANNOUNCES DETAILS OF EIGHTH FUNDING ROUND OF
'SOUND & VISION' FOR TV

 

 

The Broadcasting Commission of Ireland (BCI) today (2nd June 2009) announced details of the eighth funding round of Sound & Vision, the Broadcasting Funding Scheme, for TV.  

Applications are now invited from programme makers for funding for new television programmes dealing with the themes of Irish culture, heritage and experience. The Sound & Vision scheme also provides funding for new programmes aimed at improving adult literacy.

The Commission expects decisions to be available by the end of September 2009.

Application forms and Guidelines for the current funding round for TV can be downloaded from the BCI website www.bci.ie, or are available by e-mail from sound&vision@bci.ie.  The closing date for receipt of applications is 12.00 noon on Tuesday, 14th July 2009.
