BCI RECEIVES THREE APPLICATIONS FOR NEW
SOUTH WEST REGIONAL LICENCE

The Broadcasting Commission of Ireland (BCI) today announced the receipt of three applications for a new youth-based licence for the south west of Ireland . This service will cover the Counties of Kerry, Limerick , Clare, North Tipperary and South-West Laois.
The proposed station names and contact details for each of the applicant groups are listed below.

All applications submitted to the BCI will be made available for public inspection from Wednesday May 3rd next. From that date, they can be viewed on-line or by appointment through the Commission’s offices at 2-5 Warrington Place. Alternatively, applications may be viewed at the City Library, Michael Street , Limerick .
It is anticipated that the first phase of consideration of the applications, by the Board of the BCI, will take place at their meeting on June 19 th.
