BCI ANNOUNCES VENUE FOR SOUTH-WEST REGIONAL
ORAL HEARING

A public hearing of the applications for the youth service in the south-west region will be held in the Castletroy Park Hotel, Dublin Road , Limerick this coming Monday ( July 17th, 2006 ). The hearing, which will take place in the Barrington Suite, will commence at 2p.m. sharp.

The purpose of the public hearing process is to afford the applicant groups an opportunity to present their case for the licence in a public forum and to allow the Commission to clarify certain issues in the applicants’ submissions.
The applications received by Red FM South West and by SPIN can be viewed on the BCI’s website, or by appointment at the BCI’s offices at 2 – 5 Warrington Place , Dublin 2.
It is anticipated that a decision with regard to the award of the licence will be made at the Commission’s meeting in early September.
